Tremolo sign

Since version 3.6, the tremolo symbol is handled automatically. You will find it at the bottom of the Ornamentation tool palette (in the Tools menu). To use it, add a note (alone or with a chord). Then select the tremolo sign and click on the note head. A part of a tremolo sign appears. Add the second note (alone or as a chord) and the tremolo sign will adapt itself automatically. It will also be played when reading the score, by alternating the two notes or chords rapidly. There are two versions of the symbol, one with the lines touching the note stems and the other one with the lines not touching the note stems. Notice that the duration of the notes are divided by two. If you enter two half notes with a tremolo, the total duration is only one half note.
